At RTZ Communications we pride ourselves on providing the Information Transport Systems (ITS) that educators, teachers and professors in the Metro Washington, DC use to educate the children who are our future.

Annually we support many educational school systems at all levels (K-12, colleges and universities) by helping IT departments meet the needs for the upcoming school year, they are challenged with the task of having the ITS outlets where they are needed so the educators can better instruct using the growing wealth of information and resources available.

Copper cable plant installations:

For Voice and Data communications infrastructure we provide consultation, design and installation on all portions of your ITS. From the Main Point of Presence (MPOP) where your dial tone/broadband provider delivers your service we extend the services to your Main Cross Connect (MC) typically your LAN room or telephone closet.We install Category rated cabling (Category 3, 5,5e/E, and Category 6) to locations throughout your facility.
Intercom and paging: we can provide cable rough-in and install the devices for your intercom/paging system provider.
Building and campus backbone, from a single pair cross connect to high pair count cable for installations indoor, outdoor, in conduit or aerial.

Wireless Access Point Installation, both copper and fiber

Fiber Cable Plant Installations:

To the desk top, building and campus backbone; to include Single Mode, Multimode both 62.5 and 50 micron, inside plant, outside plant and aerial.

Video Cable Plant Installations:

For Bidirectional Video infrastructure, CATV, CCTV, Satellite and specialized video cabling products include RG-6 (Series 6) RG-11 (Series 11) and Series 500; video over Category 5e and higher.

Overhead Projectors with multi-source inputs:

Installation of projectors for ceiling and wall mount, mounting of screens and cabling the projector for multimedia input to a teacher’s desk, podium or lab table; as well as screen installations. Cabling includes S-Video, SVGA/XUGA, RCA, COAX, Composite and Component video and Serial (DB/USB) as well as mounting projectors and screens.
